Port of Melbourne Tour

Recently, I had the awesome opportunity to be the official photographer for the Rice Growers Association of Australia's annual conference. And one of the perks was a boat tour of the Port of Melbourne. A rare opportunity to capture cool ships, containers and cranes on a boat? Ah, hells yeah!

So here are some of the images I captured on the day, granted it was a little stormy and drizzly, but all that makes for a pretty dramatic scene, hence I'm experimenting with some filters and fades. I love the moody feel of the images, but I'm unsure if this is my sorta style of photography. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed myself - the farmers were all so friendly and down to earth and I love any opportunity to be able to sing (in my own head), "I'm on a boat, I'm on a boat, everybody look at me... I'm on a..." Well, you know the rest. But if you don't know what I'm talking about then click here*. ;)

Cape Otway Lighthouse

Anyone who knows me well enough, will know that I am a little bit of  petrolhead, hence I love going on long drives. And one of my favourite drives is along the Great Ocean Road, it so happens that one of my favourite places to take photographs is the Cape Otway Lighthouse. On the way to the lighthouse, I can always spot bouncing Kangaroos and Koalas on the way to the lighthouse amongst other fabulous native wildlife.

There is much historical significance surrounding the lighthouse and the buildings (hint: you can actually stay at the accommodation on the grounds and go on ghost tours!) - but I'll leave that to you to head down there and discover it for yourself. For now.... here is a glimpse of what to expect.

Ivana & Justin

Good things come in small packages - and Ivana & Justin's wedding registry was exactly that. I felt so privileged to have been a part of it and they were so happy that you could almost visually see their aura glowing with joy.
